Sweet Potato Fries
Ingredients:
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
2. Wash and peel the sweet potatoes. Cut them into thin, uniform strips or wedges.
3. In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato strips with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings you prefer (paprika and garlic powder).
4. Spread the seasoned sweet potato strips in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, flipping the fries halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
6. Remove from the roaster and let them cool slightly before serving.
